vegan life in the big city. it's a jungle out there.
Blueberries. Soy milk. A frozen banana. A handful of black raspberries. A spoonful of ground flax seeds. This is perfect for a warm morning and will sail you through until lunchtime with its antioxidants, omega-3s and fiber.

Guess what I'm drinking this morning : a delicicious smoothie made from strawberry, banana, vanille soy milk..i added tiny chocolate peels in it...
Have a nice sunday
That sounds fab! Mmmmmm...
It looks very purple and refreshing!
very good idea to start the day, it sounds fresh and since warm days arrived here on the French Riviera, I will try it very soon.
Nice color too.
Thanks for sharing
we are this coasts biggest smoothie partakers and that one looks like a goodie...I use flax seeds and a drizzle of flax seed oil. I want to make some kind of something with sunflower seeds...some pesto thing..any ideas?
frozen bananas is the secret to a perfect smoothie
Yummy!! :)
Looks beautiful!
I've been on a serious smoothie kick in the last week or so. I add a generous handful of greens (kale, romaine, chard, etc) to the other ingredients, though. The smoothie takes on the taste of whatever fruit you add so it doesn't taste green. Holds me over until lunch way more than oatmeal did and I get at least 4 servings of fruits and veggies in one drink.
Yumm! With the weather getting warmer I really need to get on the smoothie bandwagon!!
lovely! I am a big black raspberry fan as well.
And it's pretty and purple! I make these sometimes! But mine aren't ever as pretty...guess I should add more berries!
EXACTLY what I had for breakfast this morning! Weeeeeird. Smoothies totally start my day right.
There is nothing like a smoothie -- especially a blueberry one -- to get your day started right!
I drink at least one smoothies a day in the summer months and that looks like my kind of smoothie! I also add wither flax or help seeds for a nutrition boost :]
whoa, i can't type today ha
I love blueberries as much as I love strawberries. Blueberries make for a much prettier smoothie!
Mmmmmmm.... blueberries have been my favorite ever since my trip to Maine. They are awesome, delicious and gorgeous! Wish I had me some blueberries now:)

Mmmmm, I have been craving smoothies lately but my blender unfortunately bit the dust a few weeks ago :(
What a quick, easy and healthy breakfast and snack alternative for kids!
I want one right now!!
I do something similar to the original post, but with black berries instead of the black raspberries. Yum
Yay for smoothies! They make the best breakfast, don't ya think?
I'm actually working on a post about them, hopefully it'll be up soon.
Until then, I'll be content to drool over your pic!
It's good for the brain, something I really need :)
Yum! I love that you used frozen bananas as well. I hate over-rip bananas, so to stop them from becoming way too sweet & covered with brown dots i slice them up & put them in the freezen. Up until now I hadn't quit figured out what to do with them all...
