Portabello burgers topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and a Vegan Rice Slice for dinner, with a good-and-greasy side of oven-baked French fries...
On-the-vine tomatoes...
Working at home and being able to make a fresh fruit smoothie for lunch whenever I feel like it...
Eating more living food, in this case raw vegan pizza cheese from Ani's Raw Food Kitchen

Vegan haircolor--or more aptly, the fact that this $15 haircolor saves me about $100 in salon fees.What little things bring you joy?

I love this post!!! Pablo and Bossa Nova are adorable and on-the-vine tomatoes make happy, too!
Right now, the things that make me happy are my husband and all the wonderful things he does to keep me sane, my dogs who provide us with non-stop love and laughter, the amazing weather we've been having here lately (blue skies, wonderful breeze) and loooong walks to clear my mind.
It is definitely all the little things in life that bring so much joy, and most of us never even pay attention!
For me, there is... chocolate soymilk, wearing my fave labradorite bracelet, snuggling with my hubby, and the smell of honeysuckle in our neighborhood.

Also, I use that very same hair color! It's WONDERFUL. I, too, love the price. I've also noticed my hair feels a lot healthier than the stuff at the salon - even the 'good' salons with plant based dyes.
We who work from home have special blessings, no?:)

my favorite things: herbal tea before bed, baking treats for my partner, the sound of rain on my roof, the arrival of new birds in the spring, my pajamas, and the smell of vanilla.

My favorite little things are - tomato & avocado sandwiches, lying in bed all morning with a good book, soy lattes and people-watching at my favorite sidewalk cafe, and sunny spring weather.
As you, my kitties make me smile. They do such cute things. When a recipe I make is complete, hearing the birds in the morning sing outside, having coffee with my best friend, having tea with my nan. These are just some things that make me feel good.

I am so happy whenever I see the sun set and sunrise over my ocean... when I walk at the beach, smell the ocean, when get to sleep with my dog and cuddle with her...

That was a nice post. My little things: Saturday morning vegan breakfast, my husband's jokes, Scout's exuberance about everything she does.
Beagles snoring on the couch, foghorns from the boats on the river outside my apartment, melty peanut butter on toasted English muffins, and the tink-tank-tunk of the clothes in the dryer...

Feeling connected to other vegans! I sometimes feel isolated, so I am very thankful for vegans who reach out through the Internet!
Since I'm away from it frequently, I love just lazing around my house, enjoying its quirks and just being able to relax. I also like taking the cats into the backyard and having them play while I enjoy some sun on my face. And tea! A nice cup of hot tea.

Bossa Nova is so cool.. She knows how to act like Queen :)
I love that brand of vegan haircolor. It works as good if not better than the non-vegan brands. And the smell doesn't make your eyes water and feel like you've been gased! I use black and it hardly fades.
