vegan mofo :: cherry-chocolate chunk scones
On weekends, I need a little something special for breakfast to reward myself for successfully getting through another work week. I love the combination of tart-sweet dried cherries dancing against the slightly musty dark chocolate buttons. Sure, I could have used scrawny little chocolate chips. But crushed chocolate buttons intensify the HQ [hedonism quotient] considerably – much needed on a Sunday morning.
